Open Waves of Connectivity

I’ve been finding that most people are isolating
not talking with each other much lately.
It’s been this way for some time now.
And I get it.
I often just want to be
alone and don’t want to talk too.

But I think it is vitally important for me
and all of us to have “little” human connections
where we see and are seen
we talk and we listen
we share a smile and a nod
a wave and a glance
and maybe a sincerely shared
moment of kindness and appreciation.

I find it all starts with me.
If I feel ok or good
my awareness radiates openness
I start to see the good in others more
and find shared moments of
being human together.

There’s a saying
you can’t give from an empty rice bowl
meaning we have to pour for ourselves first
pour some love into our own hearts
and talk nice to ourselves
look for the good around us and in us
sit in the Sun
listen to music
nurture ourselves

When we feel ok
when we feel good even
we start to open our wavelengths
to others around us
our heart beats out a magnetic pulse
like a Human Wi-Fi network
and the password is a sincere kind smile

We need each other.
People need you
your kindness
your attention
your appreciation
your courtesy
and your presence
all make life better!

So keep pouring love into your heart.
The world needs you now.
And the world will send you the
loving waves of energy and light and matter
that you need too. It may take some time
and be hard to see sometimes through all
the fog of fear pain and struggle.

But the light is coming.
And you help bring it to the world.

I love you.
